The partnership is part of Coinbase’s push to expand outside of the U.S.

On May 25, the Austrian fintech company Bitpanda announced its partnership with the cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase.

Coinbase will be able to provide institutional trading services outside of the United States thanks to the partnership. Additionally, Bitpanda will include Coinbase as a liquidity provider.

The declaration noticed that Bitpanda offers KYC-as-a-administration. By integrating BitPanda’s existing services and regulatory licenses rather than seeking new approvals, institutional clients will be able to enter the market more quickly.

Regarding the partnership’s global aspects, Guillaume Chatain, Head of Institutional Sales for EMEA and APAC at Coinbase, made a comment. He said that Coinbase accepts that crypto and blockchain can “increment financial opportunity and amazing open doors all over the planet.”

Additionally, Coinbase stated that the partnership is a component of its “go broad, go deep” strategy, which aims to expand beyond the United States.
