Top gaming chains

Except for Polygon (MATIC) and Klaytn (KLAY), the decrease in the number of UAWs in Web3 gaming was reflected by almost all gaming chains.

By recording a 29% increase in UAW numbers, MATIC became the most popular gaming blockchain. It increased to 122,000 in the first quarter of this year, up from 94,000 in the previous quarter. BNB Chain (BNB) came out on top when it came to the most significant drop in UAW numbers in the first quarter. It dropped from 138,000 in the fourth quarter of 2022 to 87,000 in the first quarter of 2019, a 36% decrease.

With 20% and 18%, respectively, Hive (HIVE) and EOS (EOS) came in second and third place, respectively, after BNB. WAX (WAXP) maintained its position as the most prominent gaming chain in the first quarter of the year despite a 1.76 percent decrease in the number of UAWs.
